Dr. Lynn Lafferty is a Doctor of Pharmacy and licensed pharmacist, naturopath, herbalist, nutritionist, and chef who is committed to finding the safest and most effective means to promote health and wellness over disease and illness.
She is and has been an Assistant Professor in the Integrative Medicine Department and graduate faculty in the Nutrition Program Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine and is currently at Nova Southeastern College of Pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
She is Founder of the Functional Clinical Nutrition and Herbal Therapy practice in the Nova Southeastern University Clinic Pharmacy. She created a certificate program in Functional Nutrition and Herbal Therapy for allopathic medical doctors, osteopathic physicians, and other licensed health care practitioners within the Nutrition Program.
She is proud to serve on the boards of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, Broward County Pharmacy Association, and is commissioner on the Broward County Substance Abuse Task Force.
Her research is focused on natural medicine and supplementation therapy, and she is currently working on a number of projects including: Antibiotic Resistance and Natural Immune Builders, Herbal Considerations in Elderly Populations, Discrimination of Patients, and Genomics.
She is a nationally renowned speaker on the topics of Food as Medicine, Genomics, Nutrigenomics, Natural Immune Builders, Meditation, Herbal Therapy, and Functional Nutrition.
